The last movie I watched in a theatre was Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ. That was about 10 years ago. It disgusted me as the pornography of violence.

Hmm, to each their own. I thought the movie was pretty good.

It was largely based on the delirious "visions" Catherine Emerich, a sickly German nun. There was a great deal in the movie that was non-biblical. Even worse was the sick focus on physical violence to the point of being pornographic.
