Hi Lucaspa
I can understand your comments - it is easy for people to form a one sided view if they only read the creation science articles. My use of the words "in detail" were intended to mean that that I have read widely in evolutionary text books and articles.
Can you name a few of those textbooks and articles? I specifically asked whether you had read Origin of the Species. I notice you didn't answer that. That's a simple "yes" or "no" question. I also specifically asked if you had looked at the articles on PubMed. You didn't answer that, either. Again, a simple "yes" or "no" would be appropriate.

Hi Lucaspa,
I understand that you are passionate about your beliefs - and thats OK. However, I am starting to get the feeling that your posts are more interested in discrediting me than teaching & learning with others. I'm sure there are many things I can learn from you given the chance. Anyway, to answer your questions -

-I have a copy of Origin of the Species at home in my bookcase. I've read most of it - although I do recall there were a few chapters I only read the summary as I was already familiar with the content.
-To name a few recent books I have read or in the process of reading: "The Wisdom of Bones - In search of human origins", "The Triumph of Evolution & The Failure of Creationalism", "The Selfish Gene" and "The Garden of Ediacara" - I am only part way through this last one but it has some interesting findings for the open minded (although the conclusions the writer reaches are somewhat predictable). It has been some time since I looked through university evolutionary biology textbooks - I don't know if I used Futuyma's Evolutionary Biology, but I have definitely looked through something similar.
-I have not previously used the PubMed site - but it looks like it could be somewhere useful to reference for medical related aspects of evolution.

how many believe Science and the Word can coexist?

Well, so far as we know, while He was here, He ate and drank, and that's chemistry. So, apparently, science and the Word can coexist.
