Here in the Northwest we have 300 separate Columbia River basalt flows. We also have glaciers from the Ice Age. All of that is suppose to have happen right after the flood, right? It boggles the mind in how that all happens AND at the same time leaves no physical evidence of a Global Flood. It just doesn't add up.I'll play this game because I don't expect any flood advocates to.
The basalt came after the flood.
Psalm 147:15 He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly. We also have glaciers from the Ice Age.
Did it occur to you that they went back into space, from whence they were called?Ah. I never thought of that.
The one you teach your students, when you them the Bible.
Did it occur to you that they went back into space, from whence they were called?
Genesis 7:11b ... and the windows of heaven were opened.
12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
Remember: they used to reside on the Earth, before God created the landmass, but were called into space for some future reason.
Genesis 1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
So then ask your students what Flood I'm referring to.When I teach them the Bible, I do it in the context of world literature and/or comparative mythology.
Is it still where? Is it still there?
Is it still where?
It was created on the earth, moved to possibly the moon or Mars, came back during the Flood, and could now very well be on Neptune, with "floaties" in it.
So then ask your students what Flood I'm referring to.
Mr Popper must have been one doosey of a person to get to know.Well, can't argue with that...
And I mean that literally. It's impossible to argue against it. Which kinda makes it worthless (see Mr. Popper for confirmation of that).
I'll bet you did.I assumed you meant a real one.

I wonder how argumentative he was?
He probably argued, just for the sake of arguing.
Smart man then.He wouldn't have entertained an argument with you. For the reasons already explained.
I dont use it at all.That's a double-edged sword.
If the text isn't clear enough, then you can't use it emphatically either.
So more lies then? No, the problem is they never had a skeleton, just isolated bones. Mixed with many species, including human bones. Habilis was established as a taxon based on extremely scanty evidence. A few finger bones, a deformed jawbone and a few skull fragments, found scattered over a large area. And they initially misidentified monkey bones as part of a hand.
"Homo habilis is an empty taxon inadvertently proposed and should be formally sunk." ( Paleoanthropologist Loring Bruce)
That doesn't surprise me, as they would have been sequestered from the rest of the population, as were those who had leprosy. No evidence of Homo habilis being found with human remains.
So what is the difference?I don't need a biologist to tell me the difference between an ape and a human.
So just like any human hunter gatherer who lacks an education. Plus "limited domiciles"? What is that?Just look at an ape: strong, hairy, no reading and writing skills, limited domiciles.
Look closely. Look very closely. You are covered with fine hair.No. Actually they aren't.
