Well, when people keep starting threads on the same exact subject, they are likely to get the same material presented to them. My question is: How many thread does it take before someone will actually view the material?
Put up some Scripture to go with it

Why do you ask me to do something that has already been done?

How much Scripture will I see quoted in that video concerning Peter being in Rome?

Understood. So, if a person says in the year 2141 that Obama was born in Nigeria, that would be strong evidence that such is true to you. I understand your position. Are you consistent in that position, or just in this one situation
?

Yes I would, because it would be consistent with how history is written. Many of Alexander the Great accounts were written hundreds of years after him. Many of the historical writings of Plato and Socrates were written around a few hundred years after they're death. Its just the nature of how history is written

Can you find a quote from 1975 that states that Obama was not born in Nigeria?

Your evading the question now..Im saying if there is evidence Peter did not die in Rome then there would have to be early christians who would testify of this and write it down. So I ask again, are there any early christians who said Peter did not die in Rome?

This thread is about what evidence is there that Peter was in Rome (as if such has anything to do with anything). The "evidence" presented is AMAZINGLY weak and late - of a nature generally not accepted at all.

There are around 10-15 accounts. I don't find that really weak in regards. The consensus of the early Fathers and Christians all agree that Peter died in Rome. Why would they lie about such a thing? They have no reason to lie.. Many of the christian martrys were killed in Rome as was custom, St. Paul was also. It was a known place for the execution of Christians. many protestants have no problems admiting that theres good chance Paul died in rome, but why is it so hard to admit that Peter did on an upside down cross?

There are no phorotgraphs, but there is a tomb in Rome .

It was Egyption archeologists who first discovered Peters tomb in Rome. ^_^
That is providing it is the Apostle Peter's of the NT, which I will never believe it is.

And who is to say his body wasn't carried from Jerusalem to Rome.We are talking about Peter preaching in Rome, not about his body being found.

Protestant early Christian Scholar Adolph HARNACK

"To deny the Roman stay of Peter is an error which today is clear to every scholar who is not blind. The martyr death of Peter at Rome was once contested by reason of Protestant prejudice."

Adolph Harnack cited in THE SEARCH FOR THE TWELVE APOSTLES by William Stuart McBirnie (Tyndale House, 1988), p. 63

Protestant Prejudice lives on.

Oh Really!

Protestantism

Encyclopedia
Evangelical doctrine, is in opposition to that of Roman Catholicism. It typically holds that Scripture (rather than tradition or ecclesiastic interpretation of Scripture) is the source of revealed truth. ^_^

quoted from another thread:

John MacArthur, pastor of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley California and head of Grace to You ministries has a sermon on the Papacy that can be found on youtube. I was listening to it the other day and he addressed this issue. He went through the Scriptures showing how Paul NEVER once mentioned Peter after the early part of Acts and that there is absolutely no evidence Peter ever went to Rome. The series is well worth your time.
