What is the difference between sunday and Wednesday church services?

Usually Wednesday is Bible study and take place at night. It is not like Sunday it is more like Sunday school.

Wednesday seems to me more about fellowship than anything else.

It is a well known fact that Baptists practice the sacrament of AWANA on Wednesday nights. If a Baptist misses the AWANA meeting well...they are just backslid, wayward Christians.

At baptist churches is it like a regular service with a sermon and music etc?

At out church, we have a Wednesday meal and then prayer service after, which includes a time for prayer requests, some music, and usually a short message based around Bible passages.

The choir usually practices after the prayer service and committees and ministry teams sometimes schedule their meetings after the service.

Children typically have some kind of programs, which range from Bible Drills to music or bible study - while the adults are in prayer service.

Our Youth have a meal, meet with small groups for a bible study and do a worship session with a live band. My son plays the drums for their band.

I think each church is a little different and has different programs.
