Hi there,
You might think I'm defending God here, that I am supposing that he is perfect and that there is no way to criticize Him - but do not be so quick to judge, that which is purely judgment and nothing else. God has imitators! There are people who will criticize you not because they know what is best or better, but because they perceive strength in themselves by their criticism how ever you answer.
There is wisdom then, in knowing how to criticize someone who is perfect, because in taking the adversary's position we also discover something of his cunning, if not ever its root (at least until the end - and indeed, nor would we want to). The thing is the criticism of us is often baseless, a contradiction of terms that points out that something would be weak if everything was - which is no kind of claim to infinity at all, since that which becomes weak, must remain weak. The point is, if this criticism were made of someone perfect, they would have an answer - a statement of meaning beyond the destruction of any idea associated with it (if you can imagine such a thing).
What would it take to know how to critcize someone perfect from every angle? Would you know what their reactions were? Probably not? This is the problem, we do not do justice to life on our own, even a perfect person must do justice to life - their life - proxy someone else, how ever perfect (or imperfect). So I suppose the reality is that it doesn't matter how you criticize someone how is perfect, they are still compelled to justify themselves via someone else, via another situation in which they are with someone, another reality that is for someone. Perfect people it seems, are at something of a premium - at the very same moment they are criticized!
Perhaps this is the logic of the cross, that takes someone with perfect potential and criticizes them with nails and thorns, until their objection to the implied compliment is so overwhelming not even their God can refuse it...
