What is something that is seen as ok by the majority but actually isn't?

In the modern day, what would it be?
Living on one's own terms.

"There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death." Proverbs 14:12 NKJV

"For whoever desires to save his life will lose it,
but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it." Matthew 16:25 NKJV

Very true. If a person doesn't live a cookie cutter life they are looked at as strange or dangerous, like introverts or quiet people, people who live at home longer than 18yrs of age, people who are single for a long time or want to remain single, living off the grid, or just anyone that's different. I heard someone say that a person not owning a cell phone was a red flag. LOL Like what?!

Im wondering whether it would be wrong, to purchase items, from a person who has a bit of a reputation of stealing. Obviously they'll be selling at a give away price.

Are we to just go with the assumption, that they haven't stolen as we did not actually see them do so, at the time?
