  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The bottomless pit and the increase (kingdom) that has no end are the same. Same woman, different perception of what is truth and in the end The Truth. One is one that descends in our perception ... death/measurment the other ascending. One without, one within. THe one within reveals where we are or I am. Who you are is where you are, you are I am.

There is going to be famine in the land again, and it will be in the midst of plenty and not partake.

There are two images, one without one within, one is death/measured (shadow of the path back) one is life. You must forsake the one in oreder to see the other. The narrow that few find, it is a perception that is the Truth.

The more I see the more thankful I was granted this life to live. All things without, at the moment seem geared toward causing a great abandement or forsaking in the land/soul, a leaving of one perception to the perception of the great rest that is coming or appearing in us.

The forsakening is the opposite of driving all the inhabitants from your land. Law of sin and death, law of life. Same law different perception.

Salvation appears to be a process, instead it is the unveiling of that which has always been and never a time when it was not.

The foundation (salvation or that which entered beyond the veil), of the healing of the soul is I am. This happens in us, and if anything, makes not one greater than the other rather the one that serves greater, as an elder that serves a younger but even in this is measurement and of a lie when we hold this perception of another. It's of a not seeing him, therefore a judgment that is not unto life.

Aphiemi is Greek and means
to send away,
to let off,
to remit or forgive debts/sins, their being completely cancelled;
to give up claim to requittal;
to pardon,
to remit the penalty of.

Are you sure about that?

What about those three sacrifices on the Day of Atonement, one of them a goat, that were not sent away (Lev 16:15,
24-25)?

Actually, sin was "sent away" only once a year, however, the sin of the people was "atoned" for twice daily by the sacrifices (Lev 17:11; Nu 28:1-4), and also on the Day of Atonement with the sacrifice of the first goat (Lev 16:15).

To "atone" is to make "amends" for an offense, to make "complete satisfaction" for, to "appease" (expiate).
"Atonement" does not carry the meaning "to send away."

A careful reading of Leviticus shows that the Day of Atonement was actually more about cleansing the Tabernacle
of defilement (Lev 16:14, 15, 16, 18, 19) caused by being in the midst of the people (Nu 19:13, 20; Lev 20:3),
and the purpose for sending the sin-bearing scapegoat into the wilderness was to send sin far away from the Tabernacle (Lev 16:22).

After the sin-bearing scapegoat is sent away, then "atonement" (not sending away) is again made with the sacrifice of two rams, one for the sins of the people, and one for the sins of the priests (Lev 16:24-25).

So a careful reading of Leviticus shows that the sin-bearing scapegoat was not about forgiveness for the people, but about cleansing the Tabernacle.

The NT meaning of forgiveness is taken from "remission" by "atonement," not from "send away."

In the faith,
Clare

What is salvation is a question that has no answer, where both the question and the answer are the same, and is an ascending forever in this which he has made us to be in him. We are in relationship to God what he percieve's us to be, therefore we are I am. It is of grace and mercy because it is not of gain. Even Jesus (the living soul of him) said the stone that was cast away as wortheless has become the pinnacle of the Truth and it was marvelous in our eyes, which included himself, speaking what in the moment as an angel descending and then ascending upon him fed him of the life he himself was. He fulfilled the law not because he kept it, he was the life he believed himself to be. The Son of God ... as he is so are we.

what is salvation and what is the purpose of it?

Salvation is preserving or delivering from danger or destruction. Our Creator, Jehovah God, is identified in the Bible as the principal savior, the only Source of deliverance. At Isaiah 43:11, he says: "I - I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior" as well at Isaiah 45:21, whereby he says that "I, Jehovah, besides whom there is no other God, a righteous God and Savior, there being none excepting me."

God saved the nation of Israel time and again, such as during the period of the Judges (1473 B.C.E-1117 B.C.E.), sending "saviors" such as Othniel against Mesopotamia (Judges 3:9), Ehud against Moab (Judges 3:15), and Gideon against the Midianites.(Judges 7) However, these "salvations" were not permanent, for the nation of Israel "did not remember Jehovah their God, who had delivered them out of the hand of all their enemies round about."(Judges 8:34)

However, life depends more than just a temporary "salvation". No imperfect human can save anyone from sin and eventual death. Psalms 49 says: "Not one of them (anyone imperfect) can by any means redeem even a brother, nor give to God a ransom for him."(Ps 49:7) Thus, salvation from death remained elusive at that time.

Yet, Jehovah purposed since Adam's rebellion in the Garden of Eden that death not be the master over obedient mankind, giving the first prophecy at Genesis 3:15 in which the one who caused Adamic death ("the serpent", Satan, Rev 12:9) will be destroyed, ' bruised in the head ' by the ' woman's seed'.(Jesus Christ, Gal 3:16, 29)

At Hosea 13, Jehovah says: "From the hand of Sheol (mankind's common grave) I shall redeem them; from death I shall recover them. Where are your stings, O Death ? Where is your destructiveness, O Sheol ?"(Hosea 13:14)

At Isaiah 25, Isaiah says prophetically: "And in this mountain (Jehovah's universal sovereignty) he will certainly swallow up the face of the envelopment (sin) that is enveloping over all the peoples, and the woven work (sin) that is interwoven upon all the nations. He (Jehovah) will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces. And the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Jehovah himself has spoken it."(Isa 25:7, 8)

At Revelation 20, those in the grip of death but qualified to be resurrected, are released from its grasp, for it says: "And the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Hades gave up those dead in them."(Rev 20:13) These ones have the opportunity to live without ever dying again.

Thus, everlasting salvation is before them. However, these, along with the "great crowd" who are privileged to pass through the "great tribulation" in the near future (Rev 7:9-14), must prove themselves worthy of salvation that only Jehovah gives, life without end in perfection, and for "meek" or those teachable by him, to live in an earthly paradise "in the abundance of peace....forever".(Ps 37:11, 29; Matt 5:5)

We think of the fall as a bad thing, but it is the pattern ... if a seed does not fall to the ground it abides alone, everytime the seed falls, it is there where nakedness is revealed. It is the unending truth of the price of fellowship.

The "fall" of Adam brought sin and death (Rom 5:12), not life and hope. If he had not "fallen", then he and his offspring could be enjoying life without end on a paradise earth, rather than the misery that now exists.(Matt 24:7, 8)
