Why would someone whose been "freed" from Sabbath be so concerned about how anyone else remembers and sanctifies it ? We have noticed the "frame of mind" Stormy refers too- it is delightful indeed!

My only concern is that people like k4c claim without keeping Sabbath you are lost and do not know God. To me this is an obvious trampling of the grace of God in favor of seeking ones own righteousness. How does one merit unmerited favor?

Furthermore, I do not believe you succeed at "sanctifying" the Sabbath anymore than I do. You do not rest or keep the Sabbath as instructed in the Bible, but you believe your new definitions of what constitutes work and rest for you personally are benefiting you somehow.

In the end, none of us keep the Sabbath holy, and it seems to me that believing otherwise borders on self-righteousness.

We cannot judge another man's law observance until we have lived and died wearing his shoes.

Some count their Sabbath observance as dung. Unless you pass out your dung you will die. If you stop eating you will die.

Sabbath is a day/room of rest. Our Lord said that he went to prepare a place for us.

Luke 17:10
10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. KJV

Phil 3:7-9
7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: KJV

None of us do keep Sabbath holy without the sacrifice of Jesus Blood on the cross. The old covenant demanded a yearly sacrifice even in perfectly obeying Sabbath law. We no longer have to do that, Christ ended the yearly sacrifice and now we keep Sabbath holy through His Grace. God sees us through Him and knows our "frame of mind". My righteousness is as a filthy rag and all my righteousness can only be found in the Grace of Jesus Who IS The CHRIST-Glory to His NAME!

One again Kira, why would someone "freed" from the Sabbath be so concerned as to judge others who find it delightful?

I am judging you? It is the SDAs who judge the world for NOT keeping the Sabbath. Sunday worship is the mark of the beast to SDAs. Please, don't pretend you are not judgmental. People in glass houses...

I am only saying that no one keeps the Sabbath as it was intended. You preparing a feast and hanging out with friends is no more holy or restful than me sitting in a dark room alone playing video games.
