Maddi, you are one cool lady. You can back out, but somehow I don't think you would ever back down.

And I wouldn't worry about the never been to college part. You're in good company here. (meaning me!)

Believe me, Maddi, that in the things of God, college does not help. Jesus makes it very clear who is the teacher and no collge professor is mentioned...

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26

No where does scripture say that without higher education you cannot be saved or understand what you need to understand.

In order to get closer to God it is often necessary to unlearn what we learned in school. It was certainly true in my case!

Thanks for the encouragement Claire, Amadeus. No, I would NEVER back down from what I belive and KNOW is true.

I grew up in church from day 1....it's all I know. But for a few years now, I've seen that I don't really understand God's word... by that, I mean, in my parent's church all they did was teach right from wrong, and teach about the people in the Bible, and not much else. But I don't belive ya can turn God into a science project either.
