What would be the way to remember those extra seventeen planets?

You know, in the vein of (and this might just be the UK version): My Very Elderly Mother Just Sits Until Night Passes.

Just fyi, our very educated IAU just demoted those pizzas to the size of personal pan pizzas.

In violation of their own bylaws too.

As I said, mine's the UK version, and that might even be regional.

I'd need the list of planetary objects past Pluto because I'm tempted to try and make the mnemonic for it.

And why does that make a difference and how does it directly affect you?

There are no planets. The Earth is flat and those are just lights. Images of so called planets are a hoax.
I've seen Jupiter and its biggest moons on a large amateur telescope... all you need is something stable with a decent ability to focus.

Well then let's all just violate our own bylaws and see what happens.

Maybe if some scientists would have taken their jobs a little more morally, we wouldn't have had some of the tragedies our history books are peppered with?

You make a point though.

No one died when the IAU violated their own bylaws.

But when NASA did, people died.

Except that so many errors and deaths that you lay at the feet of science are not the fault of science or scientists, but of people OTHER than scientists, non-scientists. So really, senor Quixote, you're charging at a windmill claiming it's a giant.

So... again, what is the point of you acting like astronomers demoting Pluto is something anti-sacrosanct (there probably is a better term but that's all I could think of)?

For the sake of making my point ... fine ... let's say they weren't scientists.

Let's say they were administration, or management, or the clerks in the mailroom, for all I care.

The point is:

Let's just all violate our own bylaws and see what happens.

As long as no one dies or gets hurt, who cares ... right?

Considering that nothing of value was lost, nor gained technically, meaning it's a net zero loss/gain, demoting Pluto is really just a massive non-issue at the end of the day.

Now, Senor Quixote, go for your next windmill, I mean giant.

But it would be a different story if YOU were one of the planetary astronomers who got locked out of the voting process, wouldn't it? ;)

How much is NASA paying you to post this misinformation?

I'm just kidding around.

Yeah, but if the ninth one had pineapple and Canadian bacon, it wasn't a real pizza.
If it had pineapple on a pizza, it had no reason to be considered real food.

Many scientists and philosophers believe that there are deeper connections and patterns that underlie the universe, such as the concept of "entanglement" in quantum physics, or the idea of a unified field that connects all of existence. While these ideas are still being explored and debated, they suggest that there may be even more fundamental ways in which everything in the universe is interconnected.

The double-slit experiment also demonstrates the idea of quantum entanglement, which is a phenomenon in which two particles become entangled and their states become correlated, even if they are separated by a great distance. This suggests that there may be deeper connections and patterns in the universe than we currently understand.

The Gaia hypothesis, named after the ancient Greek goddess of Earth, posits that Earth and its biological systems behave as a huge single entity. This entity has closely controlled self-regulatory negative feedback loops that keep the conditions on the planet within boundaries that are favorable to life.
But that doesn't mean people can be anywhere in the universe instantly.

:) Sorry, I saw your initial post as serious.

That said, I have seen accusations exactly like that thrown at clearly amateur astronomy channels on YouTube.
