what is normal?

Hi my 14 year old will be home schooled, it worked when she was in 6th grade and she did well. Turned out she was being bullied according to her.
How much socialization is necessary at this age? We are all introverts but I push myself to go to events at church and next week I'll be volunteering and it would be great for it to turn into a job.

There is a lady at church who homeschools her kids(she has a boy left I think) about it and see if she knows others who are doing the same.

Being eighteen, I can give slight insights into a fourteen year olds mind. It's a difficult time, hormones, the way that the world is, and to be honest, as long as you keep her in active activities, such as sports; swimming at weekends, visiting the church, things will be fine. Get her to do errands on her own, such as going to the shop - - increasing her confidence and see if there is anything she can volunteer to do around where you live. Teenagers are all completely different. I exploded, hurting myself and those I love, when I was young and had little to no social interaction. Make sure she gets out of the house on a daily basis. As long as you do this, she is indeed blessed; for being away from destructive teens and from being protected by bullying.

Actually, a good idea would to be showing her this website! She can make online friends with her beliefs and of course be under your watchful eye! we have a puppy and after a week, she is starting to want to be involved with him, which is a good sign.

Depends on her personalty type.
but being accepting in middle school-early high school IS A HUGE THING

she's not in any activities now; when I was that age I didn't either. It wasn't until high school I got involved and had friends.
