Oh, what is my destiny?
From my sins I’ve been set free.
Walking with my Lord each day,
Following Him in all His ways.
Going where my Lord leads me,
Listening to Him, His word heed.
Sharing His Word, truth to tell,
So that others not in hell.
Caring, sharing, meet their needs,
So that they on God’s Word feed,
Get forgiven of their sins,
So that they now live for HIM.
Persecuted for truth tell,
Now rejected, not gone well,
For so many follow lies
And on truth they not rely.
Twisting truth to meet their lusts,
For the truth they have now bust,
Flesh rules in their lives supreme
So in fantasy they dream.
Live the truth, confront the lies,
And not on the lies rely,
It requires to self we die
When about us others lie.
Give it all to God in faith,
And not run away escape,
Face it all with strength from God,
And not give the lies a nod.
One day Jesus will return,
And His persecutors spurn,
But His faithful ones He’ll take
To be with Him, world forsake.
