I am not presenting apologetics; my posts are stating well known and well documented teaching. I am not an apologist. Apologetics is a mugs game in places like CF.The reason why you're experiencing opposition is because you are presenting extremely poor apologetics.
What a repugnant thing to write!Actually it's three heads; Jesus, Mary, Pope.
There is some ancient pagan art that shows their gods with three heads. Like some freak of nature.Actually it's three heads; Jesus, Mary, Pope.
Except that the art is not pagan; it is Christian art. There is some ancient pagan art that shows their gods with three heads. Like some freak of nature.
Okay I'll put it this way; a lot of what you've been saying is not convincing.I am not presenting apologetics; my posts are stating well known and well documented teaching. I am not an apologist. Apologetics is a mugs game in places like CF.
It can’t be Christian art because Christian art would picture a body with only one head just as the scripture declares.Except that the art is not pagan; it is Christian art.
I am not trying to convince you about anything. I wrote, as I said, well known and well documented teaching. What you do with it is up to you.Okay I'll put it this way; a lot of what you've been saying is not convincing.
How so? The pope is called the head of the RCC and the RCC has sayings like "know Mary, know Jesus - no Mary, no Jesus".What a repugnant thing to write!
take a look at this: images of the Holy Trinity in Christian Art - Google SearchIt can’t be Christian art because Christian art would picture a body with only one head just as the scripture declares.
In other words you're parroting Roman Catholic apologetics.I am not trying to convince you about anything. I wrote, as I said, well known and well documented teaching. What you do with it is up to you.
I have never seen such a thing as "know Mary, know Jesus - no Mary, no Jesus".How so? The pope is called the head of the RCC and the RCC has sayings like "know Mary, know Jesus - no Mary, no Jesus".
Where's the one with more than one head on one body?take a look at this: images of the Holy Trinity in Christian Art - Google Search
They can’t even see how they dishonor Christ by setting up a new head of the body. How so? The pope is called the head of the RCC and the RCC has sayings like "know Mary, know Jesus - no Mary, no Jesus".
It's in the signature of a staunch Roman Catholic member of CF.I have never seen such a thing as "know Mary, know Jesus - no Mary, no Jesus".
And you present that as evidence of Catholic Church teaching? It's in the signature of a staunch Roman Catholic member of CF.
How about it coming from a senior apologist of the RCC?And you present that as evidence of Catholic Church teaching?
doesn't make the grade. How about it coming from a senior apologist of the RCC?
No Mary, No Jesus…Know Mary, know Jesus!
This is a quote that I heard on the radio this morning from Tim Staples. He explained that it is often attributed to the Blessed Mother Teresa, but she did not in fact ever say it. However, he s…catholicjournaling.wordpress.com
There's a lot of back and forth on that. The claim is the infallibility is subject to new revelations from the Holy Spirit, it only matters if it's decided the Pope was speaking "ex cathedra" etc.Catholics say that their teaching about Mary comes from an infallible declaration of a a Pope..IOW, what the previous Pope has said regarding Mary is infallible.
Therefore, it doesn’t matter if it’s what the scripture says, it only matter’s what pope what’s his name said.
Not unlike most of the stuff I've read from other Roman Catholics regarding Catholocism on CF.doesn't make the grade.
