  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Great. That's what I was looking for.
Dream Theater,
Ok go with me on this...

By whom do we recieve Grace? Through Whom do we recive Grace? Whom is the Vehicle of that Grace that is given and yet is still a person?

In order, The Father, through the Son, by the Holy Spirit... So to Blaspheme the Holy Spirit and to reject the Holy Spirit is to reject all of the Trinity... in other words God... Because the Holy Spirit is God. So again if you reject the Saving Grace that is bestowed upon you through the Holy Spirit you are in essence then also rejecting the Son and the Father... You are rejecting at that point the whole... That is why it is painted in that Scripture the way it is... Now to reject the Father or The Son only in part is forgivable if you then see your error... But since to reject the one thing that Saves would then be your undoing that is not acceptable because it means the complete denial of all not the part...

I hope you understand this....

I am because the Bible is the Word of God.

it isn't because Jesus says in John 12, 47..48:
"If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day".

No, that is incorrect for the simple fact the bible isn’t our sole rule of faith. It is God’s word but not all of his word.

Besides, I can use that veres to say that if you don't listen to the Church which is all of His word, you are damned. That is what happens when we self interpret, we can come up will all kinds of meanings.

Anyway, Rising Sun is right. Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is telling Him to take a hike when he comes with his conviction.

God can’t forgive you; hog tie you and take you to heaven if you really don’t want to go. If you have been born again and you have received the HS and then you turn around and tell him to get lost, you don’t want to repent of your sins, you like them and want to hang on to them and you tell God you would commit them all over again if you had the chance, you are blaspheming the Holy Spirit living in you.

It is unforgivable not because God is unwilling to forgive you, he is but because God can’t forgive you when you won’t receive it.
