that your spouse does for you?

My wife encourages me in what I like. She buys me Tinkerbell stuff, even clothing and supports me in my girly ways. ^_^

So what is the #1 thing that your spouse does that you just love him/her for? If you can't pick just one, post your top howevermany.

The number one thing?

He stuck with me through very tough times and he changed in such a way that I could change too.

Other stuff:

He always repairs my car.
He cooks most every day.
He maintains the house (although, I clean the house ;) ).
He is supportive, yet practical. (I love that, even if it might aggravate me at times.)

He encourages me with my schooling. He has twice this week read papers for me, and when he read them, he praised them, which he wouldn't have if they hadn't been good.

I like that he's honest with that, and won't tickle my ears and tell me what I want to hear.

He has brought me to work twice this week and will be picking me up, saving me a long walk in the sudden cold snap.

He asked me this morning if we are having date night, instead of me having to ask him!

What I appreciate the most is my wife staying in shape. Granted she's only 21, but when I see what other wife's look like, I let her know often she's doing good.

If he gets in to bed before me, he'll warm my side up so I'm not getting in to a cold bed.

That's sweet. I'm the selfish one who goes to bed first, warms my side, then when he gets to bed and warms up I put my cold feet on him anyway. I'm awful!

The thing I admire and like most about my husband is his patience. Not only with putting up with me and all of my problems (which there are many, more than I care to admit), but with most of life's situations. Of course, his patience can translate into procrastination at times, but when he does things, they are done right with attention to every detail.

Obviously I could list more, but that will do for now. :)

 My hubby does that too! Plus, he himself is a furnace, so all I have to do, is crawl up next to him, and absorb some of his heat.

That's my DH, it's great during winter, not so good in the summer :D

My husband is an involved father. He spends a lot of time and energy engaging in activities with the children. :groupray: Last night he took them roller skating so I could have some peace and quiet to study for my finals.

In more recent years, he's grown in his willingness to take the servant towel. Last night he cooked my favorite dinner.

He keeps himself fit, handsome, clean. Yesterday he offered to shave for me so that his beard wouldn't be scratchy.

My husband knows my knees are really bad with arthritis, and our laundry is in the basement, so he has taken over doing all the laundry! It spares me the pain and its one less chore on my list. In a household of 6, this is no small task. That's a huge blessing to me and I treasure that he does something so caring for me. Forget flowers or mushy poems, I'll take the laundry being done any day! :)
