What is god purpose for the entire universe?

I think we are made to be company for God by our own wanting to and freewill desire for love.
I think God left stuff out of the bible just to make it interesting, or forums would be a bit bland and repetitious..

Or it means God is demonstrating something.

Or it means exactly what it appears to mean. The universe was not made for us.

I agree. The universe was not made for us but to demonstrate the glory of God. (though I understand we probably don't agree on that point.)

His power, majesty, justice, wrath, mercy, etc.
