A lot of religions in this world have different spins on God(s). Some greek gods were mischevous and maybe a little evil. The Christian god is made out to be pure good. In between the two extremes of pure good and pure evil is basically any possibility of what God is like.
Why is it so important for many of you to see God as pure Good? Would you hate him if he was, say, mostly good but partly mischevious? Or if God was somewhere in the middle?
In my opinion I think that if God does exist then he is somewhere in the middle. He/She/It is probably something quite like us. I bet God gets bored once in a while. Probably gets angry if he accidentally steps on a star and burns his foot. I bet God's main concern is probably to have a good a time as possible, cause how can you shoot for anything less than that? Kind of a waste of life if you ask me. God probably got bored with the universe when there was no life, so God created lifeforms, all over the universe most likely. We might be his pets/toys so to speak. Some are pets, anyways, like Christians that love their master so much. Other people would try to bite the hand that made them, Im sure. Other people just go about their lives, and God probably watches many of us in amusement as we fight our wars, love our husbands/wives, do all kinds of funny things. Maybe after we die he resurrects as into another life so the cycle can repeat itself. Or maybe he gets really mad with some of us and throws us into a place like hell for a while and then sets us free again. In any case, God seems to me to be a neutral party for the most part, but probably helps his creation out once in a while by healing a few people or sending rain during a bad drought. I can see him being really happy though, with all that power to do whatever you want, listen to the best music, watch the best reality tv shows.
How do you all see God? Im looking for a variety of answers, from all faiths and belief systems?
