Well, great sinner that I am, I am reading a children's book, Marsupial Sue by John Lithgow. Quite secular, but I do love children's books. I also got many of my sermons from children's books.

Cheers, and good reading,

Jim, a lad at heart.
Not here to judge what you are reading Jim. Just glad that you are reading something. I just like to know what others are reading and hope they will share in this thread.

Blessings:wave:

A Compend of Luther's Theology. A forerunner of Luther's Works which was a massive 55 volume set.

Jan's reading Janet Evanovich's books which are hiliarious. I read her first about 10 years ago about an out of work saleslady that gets desperate and goes into "out of her dept" bounty hunting.

I to have started Jerusaelm Countdown By John Hagee. Last secular book was "Rebuilding the Indian" about this college professor/ tree trimmer who rebulds an Indian Chief Motorcycle in Missoula Montana.Very entertaining read. Should we do a book swap? I got tons of great stuff. Just a thought.

right now I am re-reading a book I read 20 years ago - "Hinds' Feet on High Places" by Hannah Hurnard. Also, 2 Francine Rivers books - "The Priest" and "Unspoken"

Pilgrim...I just love "Hinds' Feet in High Places" and remember reading it twice quite a long time ago. It is classic as far as spiritual reading goes. Like Oswald Chambers. "My Utmost for His Highest." and Bunyan's "Pilgrim's Progress" which I am reading now.

Blessings,

birdie

I've been reading some Perri O'Shaughnessy.
"Perri" is two sisters, Pamela and Mary, a former lawyer and public relations writer, who write legal mysteries.

I've read three so far. The lawyer/detective is Nina O'Reilly.
