One one hand a family is considered to be persons who you are related to by blood. On the other hand, a family is considered to be those who love you and are there for you. So what happens when you have neither.?

Yesterday God showed me where one of my aunts from my adopted referred to me as "that one," reminding me once again that she does not consider me family or even as a human being. Unfortunately, many family members have this type of attitude towards me.

What about friends, neighbours, members of the church, what happens when they don't love you? Are these my family, clearly not?

What about a significant other such as your boyfriend, fiance, or spouse? Surely a significant other would know you more than anyone else, accept you, respect you, love you despite what others say about you, but what happens when this is not so? What happens when you realize the fact that his friends and others in his life mean more to him that you ever will? What happens when he is happier and willing to call, talk to, text, spend time with, smile with, hugs, approaches other persons without even thinking to do it because it just happens automatically, naturally, while he treats you differently? What about when his own friends hate and ill-treats you and he still accepts them as his family, not offended or bothered by their behaviour towards you? Is he my family, clearly not. He clearly does not think of me as his family, neither do others in my life. I am not even sure whether my children would ever accept me or think of me as their family.

God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost helps me to survive every day somehow with this knowledge that I have no family, no one, and so can you.

Life can be lonely Waves.
Make one or two good friends and don't think so much about this negative stuff.

If we have ONE good friend in life, we're very lucky indeed.
Try to think about what someone else might need. Maybe there's someone near you that needs a good friend? I mean near you in distance...maybe YOU could be that friend?

Looks like we all need one.
Prayers.

Maybe this might help...

Being spiritually related, your spiritual families or family members...?

First three posts...

God Bless!

Yes. Not everyone has a family, in its various definitions of the word. But the beauty of Christianity is that God adopts you into his family.
