What if your in an addiction that your not suppose to be addicted to and you can't stop no matter what, you keep praying and ask for forgiveness but then you do it again. This is m problem, I'm young and I don't wanna tell anyone it's gonna get me in trouble and I confess to Jesus but there's times where I don't think he can hear me.

I'm not perfect, but realize this. If you have accepted Jesus Christ in to your life, you are not a sinner. You are a Saint. You may commit sin, but this does not make you a sinner. I pray and will do anything to not hurt God. *That feeling of betrayal to him is the worst!!* When I falter I ask for forgiveness, but do not dwell on it. If I dwell on it I will never get to move on to greater things. I have gotten past all but a few of my addictions doing this since I came to Christ this year. It won't be easy, but anything can be done through God. Whatever you are addicted to, I suggest this. When you feel the urge to do whatever it is, (whether it be drugs, eating, video games, just anything really that will lower your status with God,) Call someone. Talk to somebody and it should soon go away. I hope it helps! My name is Austin and I would love to pray for you!! God bless you :)

Thank you for that. But what i believe is that when i accept Jesus Christ into my life, im forgiven and i shouldnt question my salvation. But i dont know what becoming a "saint" is. I think thats a different belief but i know im a still a sinner even when i accept him, and i always will be since im living in a world of sin.

What it means is that the Holy Spirit is within you. It sets you apart. You are a Saint as when you accept him because that is when the Holy Spirit will begin to work inside of you. The word literally comes from Greek meaning set apart. You are set apart from the sinners because you know who He is. I hope I helped :)

I don't know how old you are, but if you still live with your parents: tell them, and tell them you need help. You will not get in trouble. Your parents want what is best for you, and that is not punishment, but for you to get better.
Hopefully you/your family have the means for rehabilitation, because while your will may be strong, I think that going to a rehabilitation center is the best route to go when dealing with addiction.

Freedom from any addiction does not come without a price-the price is suffering some form of withdrawal. CAn be mental, physical or both.

First you must acknowledge the addiction. Second change your playmates and playgrounds.

Go through the withdrawal. Replace the bad with good (redirection).

Realize that some people have addictive personalities. Check out things like the "void" theroy. Read Co-Dependant No More. Addictions can be beaten but its like tieing your shoes...NOBODY gets it right the first try..Prayers

PS Loose the guilt.. Almost Everyone is/has been addicted to something whether they know it or not. If the enemy can keep you condemed he wins. God forgives and delivers, but do not ask to walk with God if you are unwilling to move your feet. God will give you the means but He will not do your part FOR you. Not on anything. He will make the way but you are to do the task. They say if you get busy you get better. Get busy, what have you got to loose?
