This is a post from another thread, but what if we all prayed for each other: Baptists for Methodists; Calvinists for Messianics; Catholics for Jehovah's Witnesses...and vice versa, etc...do you believe The Creator would bless such prayer?

The enemy can divide us over disagreements over words, but he can't touch our agreement in prayer.

In all three anaphoras currently in use in the Coptic Orthodox Church (St. Basil, St. Cyril, St. Gregory) there is a part during the confession before the holy Eucharist where the deacon exhorts us --

Pray for us and for all Christians who said to us concerning them, “Remember us in the house of the Lord.”

So we already do this, and have always done this, ever since we have had set liturgical texts. (c. 4th century, since here we're talking about the real core of the anaphoras.)

Directly related to this, there are certain times when the priest will take the names of those he is specifically asked to remember and place them before the altar and pray for them during the silent prayers of the service. When Fr. Marcus asked me if I had anyone I wanted him to pray for specifically, I asked for prayers for my grandmother, who was a Roman Catholic during her life but sadly died in enmity to that church due to its sex abuse scandals, one of which broke shortly before she passed. Father did not ask about her affiliation, but took the name just as he did from all the Egyptians.

My prayer request is for unity of the Body of Messiah!
Your post says "What if...." and "Do you believe the Creator would answer such a prayer...." Those statements comprise first the theoretical, then a rhetorical Q. An actual prayer would be something like, "Let's pray for unity of the Body of Messiah." But it's up to a moderator to decide, really, not me.
