So you don't think homosexuality is reaching a new height in society? Or premarital sex or sex outside of marriage and lack of marriage at all?I'm not saying that things aren't bad and must be improved. I'm just remarking that things are better than they've ever been.
It depends on what you mean by more. I don't believe that there are more people so inclined. But I do believe there are more people acting out their inclination, and there are WAY more who are out of the closet about it. Let me elucidate. So you don't think homosexuality is reaching a new height in society? Or premarital sex or sex outside of marriage and lack of marriage at all?
I'm thinking about the principles God has layed out in His Word. Aren't these the breakdowns in society similiar to the times of Noah?
I don't think that this statistic is anywhere close to what the true representation of gay relationships are. I believe it is over 10% for sure.Even though exclusively gay relationships are like 2% of the population. TV makes it seems like everyone is gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender. And of course everyone is having sex but me. LOL
I don't see how that shows Christians use parables at all, but I'll let it go.
Don't the Jewish people follow texts that aren't even in the Bible? How does that all work? I don't understand how outside teaching fits in to what Jewish people believe.
The word "FIRE" used as a parable
This is a short list of the word FIRE being used to mean JUDGEMENT.
Psalm 78:21
When the LORD heard them, he was furious; his fire broke out against Jacob, and his wrath rose against Israel,
Psalm 79:5
How long, LORD? Will you be angry forever? How long will your jealousy burn like fire?
Psalm 89:46
How long, LORD? Will you hide yourself forever? How long will your wrath burn like fire?
Psalm 104:4
He makes [winds / spirits] his messengers, flames of fire his servants.
Isaiah 4:4
The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; he will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of fire.
Isaiah 66:15
See, the LORD is coming with fire, and his chariots are like a whirlwind; he will bring down his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Isaiah 66:16
For with fire and with his sword the LORD will execute judgment on all people, and many will be those slain by the LORD.
Deuteronomy 32:22. For a fire has been kindled by my wrath, one that burns to the realm of sheol below.
Amos 7:4
This is what the Sovereign LORD showed me: The Sovereign LORD was calling for judgment by fire; it dried up the great deep and devoured the land.
Hebrews 10:27
but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.
2 Peter 3:7
By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
I think we take the word fire literally, not as a parable. I'm not sure why you think we use it as a parable. Can you explain that a little more?
What do you think the word "fire" means then in these sentences?

Riddle
A riddle is a statement or question having a double or veiled meaning, put forth as a puzzle to be solved. Riddles are of two types: enigmas, which are problems generally expressed in metaphorical or allegorical language that require ingenuity and careful thinking for their solution, and conundrums, which are questions relying for their effects on punning in either the question or the answer.
In spirituality including religion, visions comprise inspirational renderings, generally of a future state and/or of a mythical being, and are believed (by followers of certain religions) to come from a deity, sometimes directly or indirectly via prophets, and serve to inspire or prod believers as part of a revelation or an epiphany. Many mystics take the word vision to be synonymous with apparition.
For religious visions as a literary form, see apocalyptic literature.
Religious visions are generally categorized as miracles. Like speaking in tongues and unlike raising the dead, visions can be readily forged.
In the Eastern Orthodox Church, in addition to the religious visions mentioned above, the term vision (theoria) can refer to the experience of the "Energies" of God, as the result of the purified nous.
Artistic inspiration may provide a special category of the ecstatic vision: traditionally in such cases the semi-divine Muses may transmit the visioning to their loyal followers.

Synonyms
Synonyms are words with the same or similar meanings. Words that are synonyms are said to be synonymous, and the state of being a synonym is called synonymy. The word comes from Ancient Greek syn (σύν) ("with") and onoma (ὄνομα) ("name"). An example of synonyms: If talking about a long time or an extended time, long and extended become synonyms. In the figurative sense, two words are often said to be synonymous if they have the same connotation.
You keep hearing the opposite of what I am saying. In the times of Christ, Christ or the Holy Spirit sometimes gave the disciples the knowledge of how to understand the parables that Jesus was telling. It was an enlightening of their minds to understanding and knowledge.
But, I just want to know how a Messianic see's these things different from Christainity? Because the point you made earlier is that Christianity's issue is that they believe in parables. But you will have a hard time saying that we shouldn't when Jesus taught very often using them.
So what is the difference between Christians and say Messianics?
Were the disciples, fishermen, tax collectors, common vulgar men, (so to speak), (not "elite", high-society, nor considered even wise men by their peers) , were they sagific ?Everything requires a spirit of discernment. Understanding parables is actually a gift to the sages given by God.
Thanks. No it's not easy, and I'm an especially private person. (INFJ and all that.)I don't think that this statistic is anywhere close to what the true representation of gay relationships are. I believe it is over 10% for sure.
Thank you for being brave enough to share your story. I'm sure it is not easy, even on the internet.
I would say CherubRam is unique and not representative of any group. In the times of Christ, Christ or the Holy Spirit sometimes gave the disciples the knowledge of how to understand the parables that Jesus was telling. It was an enlightening of their minds to understanding and knowledge.

That's a common mistaken idea sometimes - and right (hopefully) in important way(s).I would say CherubRam is unique and not representative of any group.
You are correct that things have changed, sort of.Were the disciples, fishermen, tax collectors, common vulgar men, (so to speak), (not "elite", high-society, nor considered even wise men by their peers) , were they sagific ?
Did JESUS praise the FATHER in HEAVEN for revealing everything concerning salvation to "sages"? or to "babes" ?
In reverse last first: A great deception has already been going on for generations. Growing rapidly the last few years.Men's hearts will fail. I hope its not a literal term but that men will give in to the temptations of this time.
There will be no time like it before or after.
Meaning its going to be astounding of how messed up it is.
Many will leave the faith and the few who are left will be persecuted.
Please note its right there and it means exactly what it sounds like. A great Deception.

Regards to oral Torah: It is not likely there would be a parable in the oral Torah, but it is not impossible. It remains to be seen. What should we make of the oral Torah then?
what does it have to do with parables? You say the Bible is to hard to understand, so how do you understand and know these writings as you see them are correct?Regards to oral Torah: It is not likely there would be a parable in the oral Torah, but it is not impossible. It remains to be seen.
