The previous reference to "NASA" was removed possibly at the request of NASA as well as the fact that apparently the year 6000 has not yet arrived. When 5999 ended and 6000 began (according to this TCC a couple years ago) things went on as usual. Such that now the TCC does not directly mention/credit NASA for arriving at TCC's belief that the year 6000 had already occurred. In fact TCC no longer indicates what year it is, apparently a little perplexed as to what year it really is according to solar and lunar "scientific calculations".

First as far as Israel returning to the promised land. It is not only Israel returning, but also Israel becoming an official state in the eyes of the world. That is huge. Also, just as God said, He has protected Israel. I don't think without God's protection that Israel would have made it being located right in the middle of Arab countries, but that is just IMHO.

As far as poverty and war. I think things are very different in this day and age of the internet and global business and thinking. We know now the issues in other countries, like Aid's, unclean water and that they have no way to sustain their economy or resources like health care. So it is not that we do not know as things have been in the past before the internet and more information.

I think Christians are right on point and even if we were not, they are signs that Yeshua will return soon. It is not something that effects our lives and the way we live for God, but we do know there are many prophecies about the end-days that should be heeded and considered. I think that is smart and Godly. Jesus said these things for a reason.

Things need to be looked at as far as what they knew and what we know now. Also, the major wars were over land and resources. Wars are not really about that today.

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come............................And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Although that is in Matthew but Mark words it a bit different

20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

Other version besides this (KJV) also have it in the past tense. Now it is up for discussion if it was speaking of back then or the far future, like today.

I never said parables are wrong. The list of parables is mine, and it is not a complete list.

The days shortened means Divine intervention.

I do think that the world is being prepared for this.

How many today believe because of two men's interpretation of a few verses to which they turned into a multi million dollar enterprises, books, movies, and other related things that the believers shouldn't worry because they won't be here to experience all that?

This goes back to the 1970's and I remember well the first book/movie issued to that generation. It was (not coincidentally) the awakening to who the True Messiah is to hundreds and then thousands of Jews.

So I'm asking for the specific shortcomings and the parables.
