Its true, in most protestants urgency to denounce what they view as Idolatry, most of us in the process spit on the face of a fellow Saint.I imagine He showed her more respect than some Christians.
We can all agree with this, but I don't believe this thread should be on Marian devotion, rather on Marain aperations. All generations shall call me blessed.

Same was said of jael and Judith. As far as them being blessed
She was alive then.
A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. (Revelation 12:1)
The NT is concealed in the OT, and the OT is revealed in the NT.
Jael and Judith are just a foreshadow of the glory to come.
She's still alive now.
I wonder if St. John rebuked her.
But who is to say that God cannot use the souls of humans in heaven to send messages to man? It really isn't that far fetched. In fact i would go so far as to say that you and others are dismissing personal Marian apparitions simply because it sounds "too Catholic".
Proof?
Proof?
(I hope I'm not coming off as harsh btw, its not my intention)
I don't know that there's a difference when I don't know it was sent from God. If there is no record in The Bible of God ever sending a human with a message, why would He do so now, and never to large crowds?
First off there wouldn't have been very many Saints with the exception of the martyrs in the Book of Acts. The simplest answer is God did not see fit to use those Martyrs to convey a message. I mean why would he when he still had the Apostles on Earth. Why didn't any other saint appear in the NT to people?
Paul says that all angels are ministering spirits. He does not say they are the only ministering spirits.Scripture says angels as per Heb 1, and other recordings. Show me where it says he sends depated ones..show me....
It's spelled "adoration" by the way. Oh and adoration is not what is given to Mary, but beyond that i won't respond as it will only derail into a feeding frenzy of accusing Catholics of Mary worship. It is idolatry, and a collective delusion born of "aderation".
All I'm going to say in regard to this is that the Protestant notion that "prayer=worship" is a misguided one, but beyond that i will say no more.Yes it is and Jesus didn't even worship his own mother. Where in the Bible did anyone ever worship Mary? If you pray to someone, you worship them and Jesus told us who to pray to.It wasn't his mother.
Lol..only Catholics think that is Mary in rev. But that is for another thread.
Fact is when the bible says dead, it means that the person is no longer on earth, and not to be contacted.
People who have died in Christ, or have been assumed into heaven body and soul, aren't dead.
Remember, 'blessed' not dead.
God did not want the dead contacted. You know dead means dead as far as leaving the earth.
Leviticus 20:27
A man or a woman who is a medium or a necromancer shall surely be put to death. They shall be stoned with stones; their blood shall be upon them.
God did not want the dead contacted. You know dead means dead as far as leaving the earth.
No there is much more to it, it's simply all i spoke of , fatima for example contradicts the word of God and is without doubt satanic at the core. Each situation should be evaluated but know this for certain, in 2010 if Mary showed to me i'd KNOW it was satan.
