I imagine He showed her more respect than some Christians.
Its true, in most protestants urgency to denounce what they view as Idolatry, most of us in the process spit on the face of a fellow Saint.

I know. I hope they don't talk about their own mothers in the same way.

Same was said of jael and Judith. As far as them being blessed

The NT is concealed in the OT, and the OT is revealed in the NT.

Jael and Judith are just a foreshadow of the glory to come.

She was alive then.

She's still alive now.

A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. (Revelation 12:1)

I wonder if St. John rebuked her.

Jael and Judith are just a foreshadow of the glory to come.

Catholic Bible scholar Edward Sri said: Mary is called blessed among women, in the tradition that heroines Jael and Judith were.

Judith 13:18
Then Uzziah said to her: "Blessed are you, daughter, by the Most High God, above all the women on earth; and blessed be the Lord God, the creator of heaven and earth, who guided your blow at the head of the chief of our enemies.

Judges 5:24
“Most blessed of women be Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, of tent-dwelling women most blessed.

Frogster adds this verse, to see if we see something in common.

Luke 1:28
And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

Lol..only Catholics think that is Mary in rev. But that is for another thread.

Fact is when the bible says dead, it means that the person is no longer on earth, and not to be contacted.

It may seem that way to you but it's not.
I would feel the same way if it were paul or Mary or even King David or Abraham.

Proof?

Proof?

(I hope I'm not coming off as harsh btw, its not my intention)

Private revelation isn't closed because people still have dreams and visions along with other manifestations from God.

On establishing particular devotions i can only offer the revelation that established the devotion itself (parts of Saint Faustina's Diary is an example).

I don't know that there's a difference when I don't know it was sent from God. If there is no record in The Bible of God ever sending a human with a message, why would He do so now, and never to large crowds?

If you want to get technical God did send humans with a message they're called Prophets. If i remember right i don't think angels have ever appeared to large groups of people either, but only to a few people at once. Additionally there are Marian apparitions that have appeared to large groups of people.

Why didn't any other saint appear in the NT to people?
First off there wouldn't have been very many Saints with the exception of the martyrs in the Book of Acts. The simplest answer is God did not see fit to use those Martyrs to convey a message. I mean why would he when he still had the Apostles on Earth.

Scripture says angels as per Heb 1, and other recordings. Show me where it says he sends depated ones..show me....
Paul says that all angels are ministering spirits. He does not say they are the only ministering spirits.

It is idolatry, and a collective delusion born of "aderation".
It's spelled "adoration" by the way. Oh and adoration is not what is given to Mary, but beyond that i won't respond as it will only derail into a feeding frenzy of accusing Catholics of Mary worship.

Yes it is and Jesus didn't even worship his own mother. Where in the Bible did anyone ever worship Mary? If you pray to someone, you worship them and Jesus told us who to pray to.It wasn't his mother.
All I'm going to say in regard to this is that the Protestant notion that "prayer=worship" is a misguided one, but beyond that i will say no more.

People who have died in Christ, or have been assumed into heaven body and soul, aren't dead.

Remember, 'blessed' not dead.

God did not want the dead contacted. You know dead means dead as far as leaving the earth.

Leviticus 20:27
“A man or a woman who is a medium or a necromancer shall surely be put to death. They shall be stoned with stones; their blood shall be upon them.”

Our whole point is that they are not dead, they are now alive in Christ.

So every Catholic that prays to a Saint is a medium or necromancer?

IS Jesus a medium or necromancer when he spoke with Moses and Elijah?
