May possibly have a job opportunity opening up. It is for a special ed position which is no my certification, but they may be able to hire me anyway. I am suppose to track down the right people tomorrow. Please pray that God would just open the right doors and give me favor if this is where He wants me, otherwise, please pray that He will get me to the place He has for me according to His will. Ok, I just got off the phone with deliciousBass a few minutes ago and he asked me to post this, because he needs prayer. He had a mild heartattack on Saturday night. He began having more chest pain in the hospital, so they had to send him to another hospital and he had to have some sort of surgery. He is doing well and should be able to go home tomorrow or the next day, but of course, will have to heal from the incisions. They are not sure what brought it on, but his heart is very minimally damaged. He sounded like he was in pretty good spirits tonight, so just keep him uplifted in Christ.

1. School started yesterday and i'm completely unmotivated about this year- to the point of apathy. And i'm having to stand on my foot all day which is making it hurt and it hasn't been hurting before.
2. my foot. i guess it's getting better. I'm seeing a foot an ankle specialist now and he's going to put me on an antibotic to see if the swelling will go down. And then if it doesn't, i have to get an mri done. He said it now might be a torn tendon or ligament. I just want to be ok.
3. Friendships- This just seems to be an ongoing thing too with certian people in my life that i thought were my friends. Just i don't know what certain people's intentions are: they say they are my friends but are never there for me, talk about me and not to me- so i feel there are just rumours circulating about me within the group and no one ever even talks to me about the things they talk about concerning me. And that there is a lot of manipulation and things done to control others in the group by one person. So i stay away pretty much and feel alone and talked about. Anyways just pray that i could encounter some new relationships and people and that i could have good friendships with and that i would be able to exercise being a good friend to others that aren't going to try and twist that or use that against me.

Thanks. An update (what I know at least). The coworker is back to his job. I haven't talked to him to see how he is doing but hopefully if there was any problem, the doctors found it.

Now....another prayer I need is for my dad and sister. My dad is needing to make some serious decisions about his job/place to live, etc... He's 57, diabetic and currently doesn't have health insurance. My sister is currently unemployed and has been sick with a 'mystery illness' most of the year. My prayer is that dad makes the right decisions about his job and whether or not to move and that my sister is able to continue getting well and find another job.

Another coworker had a disaster at their house last week and is now in the position to consider litigation against the company that roofed their house. It's been a very bad situation.

Before I came back to this thread, I'd wanted to post a request of prayer for a former co-worker friend of mine. She is very, very stressed right now. She is a young woman with 5 children, a husband who is not supportive, in-laws who expect her to act as the primary source of the family's well-being, a failing husband-wife business that she and her husband are literally paying for (in more ways than one), no job she can call her own (she needs one to sustain a live-worthy income for her family), a busted car (her husband uses hers) and finances piling up to the ceiling. Oh, and she also just gave birth last month. I have nothing to offer her but my prayers and beaming references at this point. Please keep her in your prayers.

I know I made a "fun" thread about Tropical Storm Fay, but I would like to sincerely ask for prayers for not just my county, but all of Central FL right now. Fay is dumping a ridiculous amount of water on our state and is causing flooding, beach erosion, and damage from tornadoes, as well.

Please keep the residents here in your prayers. Many people have lost their homes already and there will probably be more to come in the days ahead until Fay decides to stop pounding FL.

Also - prayers for the people who will be in it's path once it crosses FL and heads out into the Gulf of Mexico.
