when was the last time you got mad at the government for doing something, like making abortion ok, or allowing same-sex marrige [not to make a debate]? does it make you feel sick when you try to watch a rare good show on tv, and theres tons of horrible commericals between it, or in most t.v. shows? do you find yourself getting upset when someone can say whatever they want agaisnt God, but try to talk about God yourself and ppl find it offending? when was the last time you felt like God was ignoring you? ever felt sad at the fact most ppl will chose satans path over Gods grace? does seeing ppl suffer with sickness make you feel mad at God?
pray is a powerful weapon. its time some christians start dusting off there swords and using them. you can complain you government is stupid, and yet not pray for them. its like complaining about the weather. God has givin us an incredible gift. its time more ppl use it.
if Gods ppl humble ourselves, pray, seek his face, and turn from their ways, God will hear our prayers, forgive us, and "heal our land". lets face it. our land needs healing. drugs. pre-wed sex. child abuse. starvation. poverty. crime. terrorism, murder.... our land needs healing. too many of us are sitting on our butts and watching the world go downhill. complaining, pointing out the obvious, turning you back, it wont solve it. i always use to think im just one kid. one little canadian boy. 16. living in slurpie capital of the world. im young. and for the most part stupid. what can i do. i cant change the world.
praying is free. prayer can be done anywhere, at anytime. the guy on the other end is always listening. waiting for you to talk. it doesnt matter how old you are, language you speak, culture your from, what you look like, what youve done....it doesnt even matter if your a new christian. God can still use you. if everyone thinking im to insinificate to do anything were to pray for the world, we would see some BIG changes.
