No sir it isn't off topic. Its part of the Ten Commandments. Now tell us why God needs to remind Himself not to commit adultery.
Dear Elder111. God gave us the Ten Commandments, and Jesus gave us two Commandments, which contain all what God gave us in The Ten Commandments. Jesus tells a Lawyer in Matthew 22; 35-40: On those two Commandments, to Love God and love your neighbour, hang all the Law and the Prophets, they contain all what God gave us in His Ten Commandments:
1) Love God with all our hearts, with all our souls, and with all our minds.
2) Love our neighbour as we love ourselves. God wants our Love, freely given and No conditions tagged on. In Luke 10: 25-28: Jesus tells a Lawyer there:
" you know the two Commandments to Love God, and love your neighbour.
Do THESE and thou shalt LIVE." God wants our Love, freely given and NO conditions tagged on.
The Expositor`s New-Testament tells us in Matthew 37: " this is the foundation of all the Law, and as well, applies to the present Day of Grace."
I say this with love, Elder. Greetings from Emmy, your sister in Christ.
Hello, I am wondering who was the God that gave Moses the TC? How can God give us ten and the same God then give us two?
One has to wonder why He didn't just give us hundreds, thousands or even millions of laws which hang on those two, once and for all.He said that all of the law and commandments 'HANG' on these two great commandments and they are the first two in the Ten, and the other eight hang on the two, which is the foundation of the following eight commandments.
The law is not God, Whom neither the heavens nor the earth can contain, much less ten, or two written laws.

The first law points to the Father and the second points to the Son, and these are the two Great Commanders of the Law. Don't confuse covenants with law, they are not the same. A covenant must have a foundation of law and if the law is abolished then there are no valid covenants made.
We might also look back at Daniel when there were the men thrown into the fiery furnace and they saw what appeared to be the Son of man with them. Thanks
The statement is make that God character is reflected in the Ten commandments. Character not violations.Explain how God could commit adultery.
Yes, it is interesting that I, among many others would think that the Character of God is a reflection of Him in Truth. God never removed the TC nor any part of it, Jesus came to fulfill the law, not to destroy it. It is man who removed it, God would have to remove Himself from existence if He abolished His Law. Thanks
You refuse to take the word of God for what it is. Heb. 8:God said through His prophet I will make a new covenant....not according to the one...
This isn't and wasn't the doing of man.
Now who said that?No sir it isn't off topic. Its part of the Ten Commandments. Now tell us why God needs to remind Himself not to commit adultery.

Mat. 22:
34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
Thank you Emmy. Take a good look at the passage above. Christ did not give something new, He answered a question who's answer was already known. The lawyer wanted to trap Him, they knew the answer. Duet. 10:
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
This doesn't include the righteous of 1 Tim 1:9. These are the same individuals Jesus mentions in John 5:24.Let's look at the Poll questions, starting with the lease popular.
Only the Jews will be judge by the principles of the Ten Commandments.
Rev. 22:15 did not state a particular race. All men are included as long as they are violators.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Again James does not mention anything about being a Jew only. James 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
I will be just as guilty of Idolatry as will be the Jew.
Mat Dillon was employed by Dodge. Its still a cow town.I believe that you are confusing two threads concerning the TC, and here is no grounds for this question of adultery. Again, you put words into my mouth and it's rhetoric to defend something that you insinuate, Lol But thanks anyway.
I recall saying that God does NOT need to remind Himself of His Laws.
According to my Bible they are one and the same. Moses called the Ten Commandments the covenant and Jesus called them the law.Hello, I am wondering who was the God that gave Moses the TC? How can God give us ten and the same God then give us two? Is an SDA site? It clearly says its a privately funded site. I'm asking if its done by and SDA promoting their (SDA) doctrine. This is what I'm defining so please don't be confused about my points, this will better present my thoughts:
The Ten Commandments Compared to Gods Character
Thanks
Wouldn't God's character include not committing adultery? The statement is make that God character is reflected in the Ten commandments. Character not violations.
Not according to the prophets and Jesus. I'm referring to your last sentence in the above post.Yes, it is interesting that I, among many others would think that the Character of God is a reflection of Him in Truth. God never removed the TC nor any part of it, Jesus came to fulfill the law, not to destroy it. It is man who removed it, God would have to remove Himself from existence if He abolished His Law.
