What have you understood about the charcater of The Ten Commandments??

I didn't place a vote because I didn't find "Other" in the list of options.

It's not that I don't agree with a few of the choices to vote on but it's that the choices just don't cover the entire truth of what this is about.

The original question about the principal-"Character" of the Ten Commandments is directly pointing to God, Himself. We should keep the Ten Commandments so that we don't fall under opposition of it and be Judged against and by it.

The 'Character' of God's Law is describing God, Himself, and when we keep His Law we then build that same Character of God within ourselves and His Character will manifest in the believer and keeper of the Laws.

It's all about 'GOD', this is my understanding, even if I am flawed. Thanks

They read it as the authors and explain what it means.

Yes most are looking to be validated and only wish to hear yes to anything they want. It is generally the way of mankind. It causes many problems with most anything. Vanity has been around much longer than western civilization. One can read about it even in the Old Testament.

Yes, it is interesting that I, among many others would think that the Character of God is a reflection of Him in Truth. God never removed the TC nor any part of it, Jesus came to fulfill the law, not to destroy it. It is man who removed it, God would have to remove Himself from existence if He abolished His Law. Thanks

If you are putting words into my mouth, it won't work, I never said such thing, and I don't believe that God is capable of sinning against Himself, otherwise the house is divided. The principles of the Ten commandments are restricted to a time period.

The principles of the Ten Commandments are/were for all times.

Jesus/God wrote the Ten Commandments.

Moses wrote the Ten Commandments

All men will be judged by the principles of the Ten Commandments.

Only the Jews will be judge by the principles of the Ten Commandments.

The principles of the Ten Commandments is what Jesus meant will not change. Mat 5:17-19.

A Christians can be saved without living up to the principles of the Ten Commandments
