What have you learned this year?

Sorry this is so belated, but I've learned that things can always be worse. I realize that may sound morbid, but I mean that I've learned to just sit back and relax a little more instead of sweating the little stuff. I see how being neurotic and overwhelmed by anxiety over little things has taken a toll on family members' health, and I refuse to let it dictate my mood, health, and overall wellbeing. In the end, we just have to learn to pick and choose our battles.

I learned how simple being single is, compared to being in a relationship... I didn't realize how complex life would become. The family dynamics, the emotional ups and downs, the intricacies of getting to know someone on a deeper level, and how much you get to know yourself in turn... The unpredictability of it all. Boy, 2017 was an interesting year.

Last year God gave me the word of conquer and he indeed done that . I learnt that when i follow God that he will keep me safe and give me the grace to get through things.


This year word he gave me was agape. I am thinking that this is too do with God love and with that his trust, which i have issues with.
