Ah, thanks! I didn't make a distinction between being inwardly repentant and formally (officially? I'm not sure how to phrase that) repenting by confessing or similar (even just saying in prayer that you repent).

If one is inwardly repentant but does not confess or similar... that is not considered having not repented?
I think Geo was talking more about how we can not judge another persons soul so even if we can not see that they are penitant does not mean that is the case.

You ask a lot of good questions, are you interested in becomeing Catholic?

Thank you for clarifying :) And thanks about the questions...I was worried they might sound silly! LOL.

I am interested in becoming Catholic. I've been exploring the faith, trying to understand the teachings of the Church, and am beginning the RCIA process very soon. I have been trying to better define my beliefs and strengthen my relationship with God. It's still a work in progress but I am learning more each day, and hopefully getting closer. :)
