CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Just pointing it out, the GA board on here lead in part to my current atheistic beliefs, and has also altered many of my beliefs on smaller scales as well.
I have also heard testimonies from a couple people, some of whom I still keep in contact with, that GA has helped them into atheism. This includes some people you would think would be some of the last in how adamant they were about their Christian beliefs.
Regular members might also remember the polls on the GA board we used to do twice a year or so asking for convert numbers, and there have always been a decent number saying their viewpoint shifted in the more atheistic direction.
Say what you like, GA was doing it's job; that is one of the reason it was shut down.

They removed it awhile ago. It was mainly used to debate against Christianity, which is counter productive on a Christian website.
