What god holds me acountable for

I am a saved man, i know what the love of christ feels like and I know the fellowship of the lord. But untill a recently i was ignorant or blind to know what god holds me acountable. I have recntly been blessed with some new insight.

As a saved person i was totaly happy sharing in the love of god. I knew what it was like not to have him in my life and when i found him i was happy. However I never shared the message with my freinds or family any one for that matter, and today i still have trouble with that task.

While i strugle to expand my cmfort zone i found one key thing that i feel i must share to those who may not know.

We my fellow disciples are only responsible for throwing the seeds, where the seeds land is not our fault. They could land on the rocks or on infertile ground. But they may also land on fertile ground, and then a plant will grow.

God holds us acountable only for throwing his seeds all abou the earth and give him chance for a new harvest.

My freinds throw the seeds.

Very true! Sometimes people can be overly aggresive because they feel unless the person converts in front of them God will be dissapointed. We need to remember we might be the first in a succession of Christains that will help save a person! Seeds can take awhile to sprout sometimes!

1Co 3:7 (NLT) The ones who do the planting or watering aren’t important, but God is important because he is the one who makes the seed grow.
8 The one who plants and the one who waters work as a team with the same purpose. Yet they will be rewarded individually, according to their own hard work.

Good points. It is harder to get up the courage to witness to close family and friends; those who knew you before you were saved, who judge you on your past, and who you really fear losing relationship with. There is a great need to pray for courage and wisdom, and to get rid of our own pride and be a more effective witness of the gospel.

Too true! By the grace of God, I was able to see my brother-in-law accept Christ after my witnessing to him. This has encouraged me to witness to my other in-laws and friends.

Each person is accountable to God according to the talents bestowed. A Man with ten pounds is accountable for all that ten pounds would do if used properly.
He who has ten pense is accountable for that amount.

Each person is also held accountable to live up to the light they have been given and for the stewardship of goods ithey have been entrusted.

Not only are we held accountable for the things we have done, but also for the things we have left undone, we are held accountable for undeveloped character and for unimproved opportunities.

We have an individual accountablity to God, an individual work, that no one can do for us. That work is to make the world better, by precept, by personal effort and by example.
