Simonline, getting back to my definition of repentance (the subject of this thread) you will notice that i did say that repentance is 'turning away' and not just a change of mind.

Yes, I noticed, but I think you need to 'unpack' that cliché so that people don't assume that it is just a case of changing what one thinks with minimal or negligable active transformation of one's life?

I've been wondering the same thing, too. I am not sure if I have really repented or not cuz I do enjoy sin sometimes but not all the time..but I still believe and I try to do good works whenever I can but still I mess up. Repentance doesn't mean that you won't sin ever again, right?

Yes. Repentence is a conscious ongoing re-calibration of both your attitudes and actions in order to conform your life to the image of God's Messiah (Rom.8:29; 12:1-2) a progressive transformation. See David Pawson's book The Normal Christian Birth to which I referred earlier on this thread.
