If God loves us so much, is there a chance that one could repent from already being placed in hell?
Easy with the wording, this is exactly like the old mocking sacriligous standard atheist question, "If God is so powerful can he make a rock so big he can't pick it up?"

Problem with so many people when it vcomes to scripture is someone tells them something and from that moment on they improperly use scripture to prove that assumption correct. This is backwards thinking, also known as prooftexting. But when we take a closer look we find it's a totally different story. You can not find any irrefutable places in Scripture that says hell is a real place of everlasting punishment and torture.

I read your response to one of my response and your answers to the scripture doesn't match up. Like I said I can't change your thinking of the bible.

One must have a submissive will in order to change.
Are you willing?

I'm not interested in flawed human fictional fantasies or opinions that attempt to interpret the Scriptures (they can only lead one astray), The Bible is 100% all of what is necessary and required. As Bullinger wrote, "we need every word", indeed, every "jot and tittle" is necessary.

All that is needed is the willingness to accept what it says (frequently not on face value,) through honest serious deep study as dictated by Scripture, meditation and prayer.

But this is not possible, indeed, it is impossible, for those who do not submit their will, wishes and desires to those of The Lord Jesus Christ.

Unfortunately, most are too busy going about it in backwards fashion in their prolific prooftexting and do not know the meaning of the word "study", and even fewer know how to "study". They barely know how to read and even fewer still know the meanings of the words they read. In short, simply being able to pronounce words falls woefully short of comprehension.

And, yet, they are out there and in mammoth numbers, espousing what they think they might believe today and swaying more in the process. If we, too, are going to teach then we best ensure our own message. There are warnings regarding the shameful shoddy workman just as there are promises of unimaginable recompense for the righteous workman.

How many would know or even recognize an amphidiorthosis (1 Cor 11:22) or a hypocatastasis (Matt 15:13; 16:6) or a tapeinosis (Gen 27:44; Rom 4:19) if they saw it or, for that matter, what they are, or how they alter our understanding with respect to the original intent of the author as well as how they effect the meaning of the message contained within their passage?

How can we truly understand the Scriptures if they are read, as so many only know how nowadays, as though it were a Louis Lamour or Harlingen romance novel? This, imo, is the sort of study so many of the newer versions we've seen released over the last few decades actually cater to, much like today's predigested fast food that require no teeth, and the passive readers remain toothless anemic babes sucking on spiritual 2% milk constanly in danger of believing any old lie that comes down the pike. We see the world being prepared before our eyes for what we already know will be.

Being a good workman is being a true craftsman, a perfectionist dedicated to his trade, a blessing to his employer; it is more than just a job or even an adventure, it's an experience, and an eternal one at that.

iae& back (somewhat) on track...

hell's roots are found only in pagan literature.

hell is not found in Hebrew belief,

nor is it found in the early Christian's.

it is a non-existent non-place

espoused by nearly all pagan religions and beliefs

and the closest it can approximate in the Christian view

is the grave.
