What exactly is a liberal Christian?

Jesus said that the only true Christian is a born again Christian. Hitler was definitely not a born again Christian and of course, then, not a Christian. Hitler worshipped himself.

Amazing how easy it is to swap in Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, James Dobson, Harold Camping, Fred Phelps, Cal Thomas, and others for "Hitler" and the statement makes just as much sense.

frdave20, you've got to make some substantiated argument to back up your quick responses...i mean without using evidence or logic to back up what one says causes discussions to degenerate into trolling/bashing/bad vibes, which nobody enjoys. i just want to understand where you get your beliefs from.

...and frdave, particularly because you are calling a whole group "liberal" that generally defines itself against religious liberalism. If you are in college (or going to go), don't hesitate to take a survey of religious beliefs course. If you are past college age, well, hmmm.
