That's because the law which came outwardly didn't move inwardly where it belonged from the beginningOf course the scriptures are inspired by God. They are all about Him. So much is prima facie evidence. But that does not mean they are necessarily and wholly accurate reflections of Him. I am inspired by the Olympics, but I doubt I will ever win a gold medal. And the same I suspect to be true of the authors of scripture, who, as far as I can tell, were all fallible men, subject to the philosophical assumptions and social mores of their age.
