This saddens me greagtly. We need must join together or this dangerous philosoby will conitnue to run rampant destryoying the future for our children. We need to stop teaching our children that we are nothing but animals and have no responsitgblity to anything other tahn their desires. WE MUST STOP THIS DECAY!

Facts? Good idea.

Fact is: The US is the most fanatical religious country in the western world.

Fact is also: Such embarassing things like the murder rate et cetera are, for some strange reason, highest in this so zealously christian nation. Compare with my German homeland for example, where not only around one third of the population are officially not christian, but where the vast majority of christians are only nominally believers. Most just go to church every so often and, outside church, behave pretty much like your standard atheist.

Strange that we Germans haven't all killed each other long ago, no?

1963 is also the year Leave it to Beaver left the air. How do you know these woeful maladies were not caused by that? And if I'm not mistaken, murder, rape, abortion, slavery, war, and pretty much every other social ailment was around long before Mr. Darwin.

Also, since 1963 the average lifespan has increased by about 10 years, the average square footage of an American house has about doubled, and the amount of sports on TV has jumped 10-fold. Do we credit evolution education for these things?

If the statistics truley sadden you greatly then you should try to actually find what causes them instead of trying to blame them on a scientific theory.

If your solution is to teach poor science, I don't think you will find many who will be on your side.

Let me know when you want to actually address the issues instead of using them to support your emotional (and poorly supported) argument. I would be willing to help. Until then, I'm not going give much credibility to your claim that it saddens you greatly.

The Theory of Evolution is scientific. It can be only supported and disproven by facts.

It is a good thing God is being taken out of school. The concept of God is questionable and is opinion-based, rather than factual. God should be where it belongs - in people's hearts, not preached at school to our growing number of agnostics and multicultural children.

But then, maybe better to be a YEC 'cos God may have given us wings and I could have flown like a seagull. That would have been nicer.

Under ToE, humans could not have had wings. (Unfortunately the molecular and fossil evidence supports this common descent scenario.)

True, true, but not if we play God ourselves and make it happen. Together, we can gather all of the remaining tailed (or semi-tailed) humans, discover the underlying genetic code responsible, and launch into a new generation of tails and a smug sense of superiority over our creator! Then he gets back at us somehow... Hm..
