I collect Pueblo Indian Pottery.
This is a Zia water pot that my grandfather picked up in the late 20's in New Mexico. I got it when I was in college and lugged it everywhere using it to hold pencils, etc. (It is about 12" by 10"). It is a wonder it did not get broken. And I just thought it was a neat pot.
Recently I did the research and found a similar one (so similar that it likely was made by the same artisan) on Ebay for over $4000 ! I sent a picture of mine to the person who bought the one on EBay and asked what it is worth. He said it would probably be worth at least $4000 and asked if I wanted to sell it. I told him no.
I now have it insured!
Oh hey!! How are you doin', drstevej? It really is good to see you. I was afraid you might've quit the board or something. I hope you and yours are doin' well
Thanks for the reps. Most I've ever received at one time here,![]()
My biggest collections in order are: VHS (about 5000), DVD's (over 2000), cassettes (over 1000), CD's (about 1000), books (500ish), coins (a few hundred) and Hard Rock Cafe t-shirts & sweatshirts (over 100).
This is going to sound like I'm just saying this because its CF, but it's true. Bibles. Just started a few months ago so I only have 13. But two of them are from the 1800's. That's pretty cool.
They're all lined up at the top of my computer desk right now.![]()
That looks like something my brothers would have stuck down my back![]()
Looks like something from a B Horror Movie!
