  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I collect Pueblo Indian Pottery.

This is a Zia water pot that my grandfather picked up in the late 20's in New Mexico. I got it when I was in college and lugged it everywhere using it to hold pencils, etc. (It is about 12" by 10"). It is a wonder it did not get broken. And I just thought it was a neat pot.

Recently I did the research and found a similar one (so similar that it likely was made by the same artisan) on Ebay for over $4000 ! I sent a picture of mine to the person who bought the one on EBay and asked what it is worth. He said it would probably be worth at least $4000 and asked if I wanted to sell it. I told him no.

I now have it insured!

Wow, that's awesome!

My biggest collections in order are: VHS (about 5000), DVD's (over 2000), cassettes (over 1000), CD's (about 1000), books (500ish), coins (a few hundred) and Hard Rock Cafe t-shirts & sweatshirts (over 100).

What do you do with all of those?

This is going to sound like I'm just saying this because its CF, but it's true. Bibles. Just started a few months ago so I only have 13. But two of them are from the 1800's. That's pretty cool. :)

They're all lined up at the top of my computer desk right now. :)

My grandmother has a bible that I've asked for if she goes home before the Lord returns. It is the one I always saw my grandfather reading.

That looks like something my brothers would have stuck down my back

Looks like something from a B Horror Movie!

His name is Munchzilla. He eats Repzillas that are covetous with their reps.
I only let him out after dark to sneak into your PCs and eat your stars.....

So, if any there are any covetous Repzillas
out there, you better BEWARE....

(Disclaimer***Munchzilla will not eat your stars if you have not been covetous. Definition of covetous includes, but is not limited to, repping only those that will rep you back, repping only for personal gain, and obtaining numerous socks to keep yourself at the top of the rep list. Although you may exhibit some of these behaviors, you may not qualify for a Munchzilla attack if you also exhibit other symptoms such as repping those with little rep power, repping those who have made good posts, and repping simply for encouragement.)
