What drives you? What gives you the push to get out bed each and every day, and keep moving? What are you passionate about? What matters to you in your life, what is your reason for living?

I'd have to say before it was my strongest desire to work with teens, which I did for many years. Now I'd have to say that its my two little girls, ages 5 and 3.

Well mine is the Lord.
I get u early to be with Him, I am tired but I want His company.
Through day in my breaks I go to my car and worship and enjoy Him. I come home and want to be with Him. I work in the church to see it grow for Jesus, I serve with the kids work to see them apprreciate Jesus. My whole mOTIVATION is Jesus and the Father, not even a dear wife (aint got yet) can effect me like He does.

I cannot get out of bed in the morning w/o God's hands lifting me up. I don't mean that figuratively, I mean that literally! If it wasn't for Him, I would be dieing a slow death of depression. He gets me out of bed every single morning.

That being said, He is what makes my day happen.

But what drives me? What motivates me? One word: Love.

I never really understood love until God brought me to the cross and showed me who I was, how I was treating people, and how my (ex)wife saw me. It hurt hard. I never knew how much love meant to me until that moment. And from then on, I can say without a doubt, that love is my motivator... I don't mean sex, I don't mean a girlfriend or a wife or whatever - I mean true, passionate, beautiful, pure love... The kind that Christ has shown me, and the kind that I truly desire to show others.

God is my main driving force. He is my hope and courage to face uncertain situations. I think without my God, I would have no REAL motivation. I lean on Him everyday for guidance.
My other driving force is my wife and children. I look forward to seeing their faces everyday when I get home from work...and I thank God everytime I have the opportunity to share each moment with a family who really looks up to me and really is proud of me...even though I don't bring home thoudsands of dollars a week.

Putting one foot in front of the other..... trying hard to get back to walking with the Lord.....

KNOWING that I once walked with Him.
KNOWING that He once talked with me.
KNOWING that He would tell me how to live each day.

Knowing that once I knew it, and now it is gone....
just holding onto hope against all human hope that maybe one day He will restore that relationship....

is the ONLY reason I get up each day.

Knowing where I came from and Now Knowing where I am going I've Got My Master's Keys (Kindom of Heaven) I've Got The strength the Lord has provided me with I've Got the Truth to live by I've Got His armor he left for me I've Got His Holy Spirit to guide and comfort me and much much more. I would have to say one is school I don't like it but to go for the field I want after school a field I will enjoy I have to pass and graduate. Another reason is I love music and art and those are all part of school. I love being able to go places and do things. I also love to be able to go to my second moms house and visite her and her children. I like being able to go and play sports I think that's what really gets me going. On Sundays it's the fact of being able to see my second mom and her mom nana.

Curitosity. What will happen today? Will Jesus return in glory!, will Islam heighten its attacks on the Christian infidels!, will an asteroid be sighted a few months out and we all have three months left to live before a nuclear winter where dust clouds the sun for a year and we all emerge as cave men! In short I suppose what makes me wake up and do my part in the rat race is not my lovely wife or my prodigious lovely 5 soon to be 6 children; it is the unknown what has yet to be than motivates me to get dressed and fill my role as a tax paying American citizen. What motivates a lone soul such as you mrstace? If a man like me with a family is motivated by plain old curiosity what makes the forum regular mrstace tie this shoes or slip on his loafers every morning?

Knowing that I have a father who loves me lots and knowing that He cares for me and wants the best for my life gives me the strenght to live and enjoy each day.

Im passionate about God. i wanna live each day to the fullest - know my father more each day and glorify Him in everything i do, everything i say, hear or watch. (at least try)

I have been learning to trust God and Im telling you 'It's hard at first' but when i realised that God's ways are perfect for our lifes, it gives me the strenght to get out of bed each morning and be excited about a new day that brings new opportunities and challenges
