I have been wondering what some of your usernames mean.
Of course some are pretty straight forward.

I selected magnify as my user name for two reasons.
First my name, maggie, was already taken.
Second because we are called to worship God that is our purpose.
Our lives should "magnify" His love towards others.

Nickname an old roommate gave to my sweet little Goober-dog, who died two years ago. We'd chase her around the living room going, "Goober Snoocher! Goober Snoocher!" Eventually it morphed because of her adorable little snooch-face. :D

Its from the first web page I created on physics from 10 years ago. The outfit required one to use state, and topic for the url. I use that username for quite a number of forums. 1388 on google right now btw. Prior to that, I was 71321,1715 a remnant of CIS back in the 80's.

I chose my username because I first joined CF when my husband left me and I was looking for others who had been through the same kind of thing and could offer encouragement etc.

Even though it was my darkest hour, the day my husband walked out the door I sensed that God placed a supernatural seed of hope in my heart - hope that he had my future in his hands, that he had good plans for me and that I could trust him even in the midst of my despair and sorrow. So when I joined I wanted a name to reflect that hope and remind me of the faithfulness of God.

Signing 'Hope' on all my posts was, and still is, a constant reminder and encouragement. And even though 2005 has been the most difficult and painful year of my life, God has been so incredibly faithful and has loved me, gently guided me and provided all my needs. It has also been a year of incredible growth and freedom in Christ.

Praise God for ever and ever and ever AMEN

(Oops got carried away there... see what talking about God and his faithfulness does ;) )

Hope
