What does this dream mean???

Lately I have been having deep/nice talks with my heavenly father, praying heaps and asking Him to reveal Himself to me as well as His plans...

Someone I once truly loved had to move overseas for good. (less than a year ago). a few days ago I had this dream…

I was in the backyard next to the birds’ cage. This-special-person was back in town, she was very happy, we were together and very happy also.
The birds that we had in the cage had reproduced (multiplied) and there were another 4 or even more little birds.

Could it be a dream from God??? Could it be a reaction after eating heaps of lasagna the night before?

Any thoughts??? any ideas???

No clue. I can't interpret dreams.

Maybe the life that you always want will be back soon. Birds in the cage may be an increase in responsibility when that life of yours comes.

Which is quite true. If your life is getting bigger, you will have more responsibility.

If that's correct then it's God typing not me. Cause i have absolutely no clue.

hi rockwell, if i had that sort of dream, the first thing i'll do is cry (or get disappointed).

I've been noticing the kind of dreams i've been having the past few years. And with regards to dreams of this, i find that they have a high chance of being the opposite of reality. The dreams i have of friends that i like all seem to be like that and perhaps dreams is just one way God uses to communicate His will to us. I don't really know. But in view of the kind of dreams i'm having, if i had your kind of dream, then i'll just tell myself to move on to someone else and forget about her. But as i've said, it depends on whether u've had such dreams before. And if not, maybe this is your first. In any case, i can't interpret it for you.

Insofar as your dream, it sounds very interesting indeed! Nevertheless, I would be careful not to place too much emphasis upon it. Meaning, if it is the Lord's will that you be reunited with this lovely woman, it is best to seek further confirmation regarding it apart from your dream. Dreams can be highly unreliable, as you are well aware. Although God can speak to us through them, it is not normative. The way He predominantly communicates with us is through His word.

I would encourage you to continue seeking Him in prayer and through the reading of His Word. Remember that whatsoever His plans are for you, they will not contradict Scripture. : )

If this means responsibility I would hapilly take it and if it’s not meant to be I’ll forget about it.

I guess seeking further confirmation is the wisest thing to do at this point in time. I read the other day in one of Joyce Meyer’s book. “Dreams are interesting but usually very unstable in giving us direction”

I'll pray heaps and hope for the best. And when I marry her I’ll know that this dream was from God hehe!!! Did i just type that???

hi rockwell, i've had a period where i had dreams of this girl and us being together. I had made all the connections to indicate that God is showing me something. But it turned out it was all wishful thinking. Point of the story is don't get too affected by the dreams you dream of. Trust me, i dream almost everyday so i know.

the thing is i remember that during that time (when i had this dream) i would pray every night and ask God to reveal himself to me through dreams and visions

I don't normally have dreams and when i do they are just dumb, incoherent, senseless dreams.

Now i guess deep inside i've always wanted this girl to come back to my life. But it's so hard to know if it is from God or if it's as you put it so well.... "my wishful thinking"

would u imagine i had dreams of this girl about 4 times. And each time after, i felt that "this must be the one", so as i lived out this wishful thinking, i realise that i was sacrificing a huge bulk of my emotions towards someone else. This not only caused distractions in my school life, but it also meant that if i go that high, then i will fall that deep. The day happened when she "rejected" me in a way. I felt so sad and was shocked. So from then on, i didn't trust in dreams. I'll just take it in my stride and just regard them as entertainment when i sleep because they are not real life. The real part starts only when you're awake.

But,to make it more whole, i'll have to add that God CAN talk to a person in dreams.
