  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Don't look for anything difficult. See it as in the eyes of a small child.

Pray in Jesus Name. You put your prayers in your godly language. After you have talked to God, Prayed, acknowledge Jesus Christ at the end of your prayer.

Or you can start your talk with God something like this, "God I come before you in Jesus Name". Don't get hung up on formality. Talk to God in normal terms and language. He knows your heart.

You may want to talk to the Father and open you prayer or talk something like this, "Heavenly Father I love you because of Jesus and I come to talk with you because I love Jesus.

You can rest assure that God knows your heart. Your gratitude for your salvation and letting the Father know that and giving Him the credit, glory, and honor is to state in your own words that Jesus is the reason you can talk to God and have fellowship with the Father.

You put it in your own words.

In public so as not to offend other believers you might end your prayer "In Jesus Name" This shows respect for God, Christ, and takes into account the norm that is accepted by most believers.

Some older believers like me and older - I am 58 - might be offended if you talk to God like I have suggested. I won't offend me but take into consideration others that it might offend. This is part of Christians liberty learning what offends with in reason and setting. I would encourage you to be relaxed while at the same time have a humble reverent heart toward God and recognize God 's work in Christ to save you and bring along in His service.

God Bless

What does "In my Name" mean?

James 4:3 Ye ask and recieve not, because you ask evilly, that you may consume it upon your fleshly lust

1 john 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us.

this is dealing with what God wants for you...

What does "In my Name" mean?
In my opinion the name refers to the person. To be in the name is to be in the person, and here it is to be in Christ.

To pray in the name of Jesus is to pray in the reality of His person and to share in His authority. Such prayers will always be answered

For in Him we live and move and are...Acts 17:28
