Hello All,

I hope this finds you well. I have a question and hope this is the proper place to find an answer.

The question is:

What does Judaism teach about Jews who refuse to follow Messiah?

Forgive me...

I'm a little confused by your question.

Are you interested in views from Messianics, in which case this
is the correct forum (as long as you realize these will not be
"Jewish" answers).

Or do you want the viewpoint of Jews and traditional Judaism,
in which case I would advise you ask it in another forum, as
this would not be the proper place to discuss it.

Not quite sure what you are looking for...

I knew it would cause confusion.

Even for those who do not think that Jesus is Messiah and is yet to come, what is said about any who would not follow once he arrives.

Forgive me...

gotcha. This is more of a question for Messianics then, because it really isn't
a question relative to Judaism (from a Jewish POV).

so you've come to the right place to ask! :)

Actually, Chava, I think this might be better answered by a Jew. I wonder can it be answered here? I'm really intrigued by this topic!

Orthodoxy, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you're asking of a Jew, if the Messiah came, what is said about those who would not follow him?

I think the Jews believe that it's a moot point because it will be so obvious there will be no guess work. Am I right?

"and so all Israel will be saved; as it is written, "The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob";
Do you mean after this event? What will happen to a Jew who refuses to follow the revealed Messiah?
Like all unbelievers he will be judged at the end of the age. As all who refuse to believe, I would hate to be in those shoes. Their names will not be recorded in the book of life.
