agreed. And yes in the case that I know of it was done at the specific direction of the Holy Spirit for both spiritual and physical healing.

My background is Methodist so I don't often have these types of things happen in my church. Like I said, I know this man was of God, but since I never had this happen to me before, I was just curious about it. I just wanted to know if its something that is a normal thing within the Charismatic community. He only did it to me that day and he is not the type to put on a show. I didn't fall on the floor or anything when it happened. My thought was he was delivering from some type of oppression, but I never saw this method before until then. So I wasn't sure to why he did what he did. But thinks for the insights.

LOL don't worry--there are charasmatic lay people and ministers in the Methodist church who have the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
