  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

ya know... i think bluesgal is right.

i know im not anybody, but i think thats what it would have to be.
becuase, you can be faithful for wrong reasons, be commited for wrong reasons, have faith for wrong reasons, be a servant for wrong reasons... but you cant have true love for wrong reasons. ya know?
and like Jesus said, love God with all your heart, and your neighbors as thyself, is the sum of all the law. everything else comes out of loving God.
and like paul said, you can have all power, all knowledge, etc... but without love its still useless to God.
so... yeah i say love.

Mark 12:29-31 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

2 Corinthians 9:7 ...God loves a cheerful giver. :D

Ephesians 6:24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

Philippians 3:8 What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ.

1 Peter 3:3-4 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. :holy:

Proverbs 3:3-7 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or swerve from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.

Proverbs 22:11 He who loves purity of heart and has grace on his lips, the king will be his friend.

While I was praying I asked God what I could do for Him. Something I could do to show Him just how much I loved Him. Before I even finished asking Him, He answered me. He said, "Your daily life"
It wasn't what I was expecting, but I got my answer.

God is awesome!!!:bow::bow:

I had a thought while I was reading your posts, alot of people think love is what God values most in us, although other things did come up as well. But Cubbs post just shouted out at me, YOU!!

God values you the most, no matter what you are like, no matter what you do, God still values you the most, enough to send Jesus to die for you. Even if you don't love God, He still loves and values you.

The fruits of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance - all these are grown from walking close to God.

That in this actual verse, fruit does not have an s because the Holy Spirit is one Person possessing all of those qualities!!!!!!!!! :D Would agree that as we get to know God better these Divine traits will become more apparent in our character...we will be more fruity! ;) Also, awhile back when I had read this Scripture, the Spirit took over and what I read was...the fruit of the Spirit is LOVE! Meaning you got LOVE, all em other fruits be present as well!

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
