Do you know when the OO started sending their priests to Rome for seminary education?

I'd have to double check my sources on this, but I would assume that it was in the 18th century or so. If I recall correctly, Alastair Hamilton mentions this in his 2006 book The Copts and the West, 1439-1822. I'll see if I can find my copy tomorrow.

In the 1st Council of Ephesus in 431, Alexandria won control of Constantinople. But this winning was short-lived. In the Council of Chalcedon in 451, Rome won control of Constantinople
In what sense do you claim they won control?

I don't believe "having influence" and "having control" are synonymous, however.
