Today was very emotional....I saw Ground Zero for the first time...as close as they let people get. I wish I had a camera so I could've shared with all of you what it was like.

It was actually from a road that went right by the towers. They blocked it off from vehicle traffic and opened it to pedestrians. The whole area is surrounded by chainlink fence and that's covered by this green cloth stuff that you can barely see through. It's like that on 3 sides. Some people ripped holes in the green stuff to see through it...because they didn't realize the 4th side is the observation area that was set up.

In an hour we will be on the road to Paris for a weeks vacation!!! I needed to say that right now LOL
I'm going with my sister and 2 of her friends , all 16/17 yrs old (except me lol) So it will be quite the experience!!!

we are going to Eurodisney for 3 days, sightseeing and shopping (wooohhoooo) in Paris and hopefully have lots of tanningweather!!!

No no! Not me! The holes were already there. I didn't even climb the fence like everyone else to see over it! I knew that they wouldn't just block everything off so you couldn't see anything...so I didn't feel like breaking the rules that said, "Do not climb on the fence!"

and if there are 4 sides, and for the most part people didnt know there was the 4th side that was open, I take it that the people on the right side didnt know about the green sheet on the other 3 sides unless they were on it...
