Does where and how you see it have an impact on the type of movie you watch? DVD or Theater
Typically, when I walk out of a theater, I want have had an experience. I typically don't go to the theater for the "thinky" type movies. But, that's not the same, at home on DVD. I guess that's why I usually end up only seeing 6 or 7 movies at the theater, including those I'm obliged to go with the kids on.
I usually like to learn something about people and places when watching a movie and see characters grow and develop. Sharp smart dialogue is always great. It's more important when watching at home, because It's not as much of a sensory experience. I will watch a movie that isn't "brilliant" at the theater, because I'm usually there for "fun."
I guess that doesn't do a very good job of telling Hollywood that I want to see "Pride and Prejudice" when I'm home though.
