Afghanistan was harboring Al Quada, which planned and executed the attack on 9/11. After 9/11 the Taliban had a choice, either hand over Al Quada or protect Al Quada. They chose to protect Al Quada, necessitating the invasion of Afghanistan.

Iraq on the other hand... that's a lot more complicated. There is the fact that Saddam was an American puppet gone rouge, the desire to stabilize a volitile region in order to insure oil kept flowing, protecting our economy and the world economy, mixed with lot's and lot's of arogance.

This idea of so called democracy, in the middle east isn't a serious reality, at least not for some time.

There was no plan for Iraq, the Americans, and the British went in there for energy reasons only, democracy was just the tag line.

They have completely evaded Binladen altogether. They do not care about that, the whole 911 attacks sound like a conspiracy theory to me.

Proove me wrong?

How did George know about Flight 11 hitting Tower one?

A truly penetrating question, striking deeply to the heart of the issue. Nothing challanges contemporary American Poltical thought, then the notion that the terrorist attacks of 9-11 were endorsed and allowed to happen so George Bush and his Neocon regime could invade all sorts of countries and kill people who look different! Let me clear a few things up for you...

1) No one but the Terrorist themselves orchestrated 9-11

2) We did land on the moon

3) Yes, Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK

4) Tin Foil does not block the satellites

5) Crashed alien aircraft have not be recovered and hidden from the general populace

6) There is no Illumnati

What would you know about the whole concept of Life out there.

It would destroy your believes.

Why didn't you answer my question, George was asked where was he when the first plane hit tower 1.

He then replied and said that just before entering the class room he saw flight 11 hit tower 1 on tv.

How is that possible when no live coverage of the event was recorded.

The footage from the two french brothers was the only footage of the event but wasn't shown until the next day.

Why is it no one wants to say anything?

For those of you who like Bush so much, what about skull and bones society?

Being a neo conservative, he helped set up this empire, well increase really.

And with 911? That gave the people enough reason to occupy Afghanistan? And bomb the crap out of innocent civilians when in truth they should of stayed in Afghanistan and pick up the mess they made back from the 1980's.

You can't trust the last five presidents, and ones even before.

May be John Kennedy is the only guy, as he did have some inspirational speeches.

Johnson was a crook, the Gulf of tokin incident? the attack on the USS liberty, and ordered jets away from the ship when attacked.

Nixon another crook,

And no I don't see any of this as simple failures. What I see is an empire, it is destroying itself and the world if not careful.

Thanks for mentioning the USS Liberty. I was a young sailor, a CT, when that happened. The guys on that ship were CTs. They were monitoring the goings-on in the region and the Israelis didn't want that. The attack was deliberate.

The Gulf of Tonkin incident was an attack by North Vietnamese boats on American ships in the Gulf of Tonkin (USS Maddox and USS Turner Joy). The first attack did occur, the second did not. President Johnson knew that when the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution was passed by the US Congress. It gave him carte blanche with regard to the use of American military forces.

However, I don't see the connection with the things that you have mentioned. Johnson was an idiot. The Taliban and Al Qaeda in Afghanistan did need eliminiation. We don't occupy Afghanistan and would just as soon not be there. What is Skull & Bones? The Kennedys were members. Who really cares? You trust JFK because of his speeches?

BTW, you probably can't trust the next five presidents, either.

I visited your lovely country in 2001 as a guest of Bowers & Wilkins. We got a tour of Abbey Road Studio. It was a great time and I hope to return one day.

Peace and love.

If we had just wanted oil from Iraq all we would have had to do is remove the UN sanctions ~ then the oil would have flowed. It isn't exactly flowing right now. Why aren't BP and the American oil companies making hay in the Iraqi oil fields?

Explain, please, your 9-11 conspiracy theory.

Peace and love.

The werid society, where people dress up as a devil, a pope, and some other crap.

Slaying each other, it's a kind of "bones men" club, a bonding place.

The history channel years back portrayed the place as some kind of dark shallow place with bones on the floors of corridors.

Moving away, Bush's controversial ellection plus the Neo conservaties add up for empire too, as well vital interests.

This just makes me feel concerned about how many people aren't aware of the whole idea that iraq was for energy reasons.

The US doesn't produce the same amount of oil it did almost forty years ago.

As I said, Nigeria deal, no. So Iraq was next, regime change. Iraq's oil hasn't been tapped in a long while.

There is plenty there.

Yet, some of the fields are damaged anyway. Clinton, H W Bush, bush, Blair...they all had their part.

Even here in the Uk the North sea production isn't the same as it was once before.
